New concept, short process and non blast furnace smelting

1. Process introduction
A new process of direct reduction ironmaking of low-grade iron containing materials (more than 35% iron). The carbon emission of blast furnace is 60 ~ 50% lower than that of traditional blast furnace process.
Scheme 1: use the DC plasma electric furnace of our company and press the ball directly into the furnace for smelting (one ton of raw material consumes about 900 degrees of power).
Scheme 2: natural gas is preheated to 1000 ℃ (50m of natural gas is consumed for one ton of raw material) 3 Left and right). Then it is smelted in DC plasma electric furnace (about 390 degrees per ton of raw material).
Copper slag, tin slag, gas cutting slag, ore, grinding wheel ash, oxide skin, dust removal ash, tailings, etc. are suitable for use.
Two end products are obtained from smelting, one is low-carbon pig iron (bread iron) and the other is water slag, which can be sold to cement plant as clinker.
2. Energy saving principle
This process uses the electromagnetic stirring characteristics of DC plasma electric furnace to increase the fluidity and thermal conductivity of molten liquid, with uniform temperature and high yield. At the same time, combined with the advantages of DC furnace power factor up to 0.95 ~ 0.98 (arc temperature 4000 ℃), the melted material can quickly reach the melting point, shorten the smelting time and obtain high-quality metal.
