Submerged arc furnace is a complicated electro metallurgical machinery, which is composed of heating furnace itself, furnace transformer, high current electric conductor (short network), electrode system software, submerged arc furnace feeding system, refrigeration system, high and low voltage power distribution system software, supervision and automation technology, tapping and slag removal system software, smoke exhaust system ash removal and other system software.
The basic structure of submerged arc furnace is shown in Figure 1 below. The high-voltage line given by the power grid can be converted into low-voltage and high current through the special transformer for submerged arc furnace, and the current is sent to the electrode through the high-current electric conductor. Aluminum alloy commodities are obtained after pouring and casting of metal materials, and the coal ash is water quenched or poured before use.
